Design informed consent documents for 6th-8th grade level readability
Researchers applying to conduct research at the Florida Department of Health should pre-pare informed consent materials that can be understood by someone with a 6th-8th grade level reading ability. Translations of consent forms into other languages should also be at the 6th-8th grade level.
